Some of the people who are commenting on here are totally out of line. Some of you people are ignorant; you should know the definition of words before you use them.
I doubt that the photographer is a paedophile (pedophile in American English). He is simply someone doing a job that he gets paid for; he’s a photographer, and gets paid for his pictures. If he was just taking pictures of teenaged girls for his pleasure, and out of a sexual desire for them, then he would actually be a hebaphile; that is someone who desires sexual relations, or has an attraction to teens, or post pubescents. Paedophiles have an attraction to prepubescent children; they are sick people, and cannot be cured.
As far as the pictures go, Tallulah is probably no different than a lot of other girls her age. There are a lot of teenaged and “tween-aged” girls putting more revealing pictures of themselves and their friends on myspace, facebook, and other social websites. I would see that as being a bigger problem than a few pictures of a celebrity’s daughter. Some of you parents on here that are criticising Bruce and Demi for how their daughter dresses, and saying “I’d never let my daughter wear anything like that”, might want to take a look at what your daughters might be wearing when you’re not around, or what kind of pictures they and their friends have on their profiles on social networking sites; you might be surprised at what you find. I know that some of you will choose to be ignorant (uninformed, or not knowing, or wanting to know the truth about something), naive (unsuspecting), and or even afraid of finding the truth to be worse than what you believe now; that’s ashame. However, there are also some of you who will actually seek to find out the truth about your daughters’ personal lives; for some it will be good, and for others perhaps not. I would also like to point out that this behavior is not limited to just girls; check up and see what your sons are doing also. Sometimes boys and girls both do things that parents would think are inappropriate, and egg each other on; this is called peer pressure. In too many cases by the time that parents find out about these inappropriate activities, or behavoirs, the damage done is usually too late to correct; indiscretions online can lead to bad events in real life.
I seem to have gotten a little off track here, but my point was that instead of pointing fingers about what’s going on in other people’s “backyard”, perhaps we should pay more attention to what is going on in our own “backyard”.
Just to let you people know where I am coming from when I make these opinions of mine on these matters; I’m both a parent, and also a retired Criminal Investigator. Hopefully I have helped some people with some insight, and at the same time not offended anyone in the process.
