AM Speaks Of the Crash.
DJ AM has finally spoken out about the day of the crash, telling how things happened from his perspective.
In his first interview since the leerjet crasch, AM tells People, “I’m the luckiest man alive.”
AM apparently had fallen asleep waiting for take off, and woke up to the crash. He says Travis Barker, the only other survivor on the plane, flung open the emergency exit doors and they jumped out through the flames. “I tried to cover my face as I jumped through a fireball. As soon as I hit the ground, I remembered, ‘Stop, drop and roll.’ So I started rolling.” AM tells the mag.
