MIA’s Baby Picked the Worst Day to be Due.
MIA got some good news and some bad news when she was nominated for her first Grammy award for her crossover single, Paper Planes.
The good news: She’d just been nominated for one of the highest awards in music, Record of the Year!
The bad news: Her baby is due on Grammy night, February 8th.
Though you’d never expect her to really (to quote the great eminem) give a damn about a grammy, M.I.A posted to her myspace blog regarding the sitch, claiming that she’d be a winner either way.

IS DUE THE SAME DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, so either way i figured ill win.

I think she deserves it.
