Eastwood Wins With Best Box-office Weekend Ever.

78-year-old Clint Eastwood achieved his best opening weekend in his long career this weekend for a film he both stars in and directed, Gran Torino.
The film brought in an estimated 24 million dollars, which beat his previous record of 18 million for Space Cowboys in 2000.
Eastwood has also said this could be his final starring performance!
Torino beat out Kate Hudson and Anne Hatheway’s Bride Wars, which netted a solid 21 million in it’s opening weekend.
Rounding out the top 5 was The Unborn (21.1 million), Marley and Me (11.4), and The Curious Case of Benjiman Button (9.4).
