Dancing With the Stars Fails to Appeal With New Cast.

There must be a shortage of good D-list stars who are interested in dancing this season on Dancing With the Stars.

The cast for the upcoming season 8 was announced last night during Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters, and it just lacks that sparkle that past seasons have had.

Check out who will be hitting the ball room starting March 9th.

Lawrence Taylor
The former NFL star, 50, played his entire career as a linebacker for the New York Giants.

Belinda Carlisle
The singer, 50, was the lead vocalist and founding member of the 80s band The Go-Go’s.

Shawn Johnson
The 17-year-old Olympic-gold-medal-winning gymnast is the youngest DWTS competitor in the show’s history.

Denise Richards
