Cyrus Duo Makes Chart History.
For the first time in nearly 20 years, a Father/Daughter duo has appeared on the billboard charts together at the same time for separate singles.
Miley Cyrus‘ latest single, The Climb debuted this week at number 58 on the charts, while father Billy Ray’s latest, Back to Tennessee came in at number 59.
The last time something like this happened, is when Johnny Cash and his daughter Roseanne both had songs on the billboard chart back in 1990.
Mileys single is sure to climb (<- get it?) as the soundtrack and movie are released, but Billy Ray’s has a better chance of staying in the area it’s in right now.
The Hannah Montana Movie gets released on April 10th.
