Has anyone ever had a voting mishap while trying to vote for their favorite contestant on American Idol? Would you consider trying to vote for Sanjaya but getting a hot phone sex operator on the line a mishap or a gift from god?
Well AI just found out the hard way that you have to purchase a little breathing room incase the events of this year ever happen.
Idol has had a top 12 for the past 7 years, therefore purchasing 1-866-IDOLS 01 -12, but someone was quick on their toes and capitalized on this upon figuring it out.
If you dial 1-866-IDOLS00 or IDOLS13, you will be re-directed to a phone sex hotline.
Idol bosses apparently JUST figured this out today, and are scrambling to figure out what to do but apparently have a plan in place.
I find it hard to believe nobody ever accidently hit the 0 key twice, or accidently hit 3 instead of 2. Maybe everyone just kept it to themselves so they could call back.
