Twilight DVD Sales Top 3 Million!
Starting Friday night at midnight, Twilight became everyone’s favorite new home video, as the DVD and Blu Ray discs went on sale to outstanding numbers!
Some of us, who didn’t want to lose man points by waiting in line at midnight, just ordered it on PPV at midnight until morning when we could casually pick it up at the store along with other manly things such as hammers, nails, and old spice deodorant, but the special features disks are worth the buy!
The film, which grossed 380 million at the box office during it’s November release and subsequent run, sold over 300 discs in it’s first day on the shelves.
3,000,000 DVD’s at an average $20 dollars a piece is somewhere in the range of $60,000,000 in just one day!!
This feat puts Twilight on the list of the top 5 one day DVD sales of all time which includes, The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Harry Potter 5.
