Celine Dion Want’s to Buy What?
Does it make any sense to anyone that Celine Dion is rumored to be placing a bid on the Montreal Canadians NHL hockey franchise?
Dion, a Canadian, along with Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte and cable giant Quebecor Media have emerged as potential bidders for the team, and have until 5pm tonight to place their bid to majority owner George Gilett.
In addition to picking up the hockey team, the buyer would get ownership of the arena that they play in, as well as part of a concert promotion division.
The Bell center arena in Montreal is home to all of the big concerts that go through the area, and that is likely where Celine plays into things.
That or is she just a big hockey fan????
