Efron Wants to Carry a Badge and a Gun.
Zac Efron is still determined to distance himself from the song and dance that he’s become accustomed to in all of the musical’s he’s landed roles in.
In fact, Zac is setting his goals on playing the gun toting crime fighter in a big screen cop drama.
Still, he admits you cant just jump off the dance floor and into the squad car.
He tells the latest issue of GQ; “A guy I worked with recently told me, ‘You have to earn the right to hold a gun.’ And that completely made sense. Can you imagine me running around with a gun in a film?”
Efron recently pulled out of the big screen remake of Footloose in order to persue some more serious films, in hopes of one day becoming the crime fighter.
Can he do it though? Would we take Troy Bolton from High School Musical seriously if he was trying to act tough?
