Russell Brand to Star in Remake of Drop Dead Fred.
Another day, another remake. This time with British comedian Russell Brand starring in the remake of the 1991 classic, Drop Dead Fred.
The film will be made by Universal, whom which Brand has starred for in such comedys as Forgetting Sarah Marashall, and the upcoming spin-off, Get Him to the Greek.
Brand is having continuing success here in the States, and will be celebrating the success of his “Booky Wook” by signing copies this Friday at The Grove in Los Angeles.
He tweets; “This Friday I am signing Booky Wooks at Barnes and Noble in the Grove. Then we will march into the street and storm that weird dolly shop.”
