The Division Between Church and….American Idol?
There is lots of talk about how Adam Lambert could lose tonight on the finale of American Idol because he will not have the christian vote.
Oh come on.
The same christians who laughed their asses off at “The Simpsons” that comes on before “Idol” decide now its time to holy it up? The show is supposed to be about who can sing and preform better. This is a singing competition. Vote for the better singer and the better performer. Kris is very very talented but to me and to ALL of the judges ( and Katy Perry ) it is very very clear who should win.
You know what else? Adam never said he wasn’t religious. This may burn the eyeballs of some christians to read this but….there are *gasp* gay christians and….dare I say it…gay friendly churches too!
In related news…who else’s gaydar goes off when Kris is talking in interviews?
