BGT Winners May Get Ultimate Prize
Britain’s Got Talent winning dance group Diversity has begun talking with Michael Jackson about appearing with him in his upcoming London dates, according to judge Simon Cowell.
“Michael has already seen what the boys can do,” says a source. “He was captivated with Susan Boyle so he had an interest in the show. But when Diversity came up on the outside rail he was mesmerized.
Everyone knows Michael’s performances are as much about the dancing as they are his music and Diversity would only add to the magic. They are the hottest thing in the country at the moment, and if everything goes well and Michael takes them on they could be one of the hottest things on the planet.”
The 11-member dance team is also set to star in Street Dance, Britain’s first 3D film. Producer James Richardson recruited the dance troupe after seeing them perform last year in the UK Street Dance Championships. “I immediately started talking to them about being in the film since I felt they represented the very best of British street dance,” Richardson said.
