Speidi BANNED From E!
Yep, it’s true. The fans have spoken and there will be no more Spencer Pratt or Heidi Montag mentioned on the E! Network.
The network held a poll to which 94% responded that they were sick of seeing media coverage involving the self promoting couple on the networks news programming and E! intends to keep with the promise and eliminate all Speidi content from going on air.
A spokesperson for the network claims; “It was just a question of overexposure and wondering how much of the news about them was truly news or contrived. It just started to feel as if they had maybe jumped a shark in the past couple of weeks and it might be time to just take a rest. It wasn’t really one particular instance, it just seemed like they’d reached a point where they crossed a line in the interest level of our audience…
“We really didn’t know which way it would go. They’re a controversial couple, and we didn’t know if people were done with them or not. But we went into it knowing that whatever they decided, we would do. We’re prepared to live by the vote.”
It’ll be interesting to see how long they can hold on their promise! Or until another vote pops up asking who misses speidi and after the fixed results come in 52% say bring em back!
As ridiculous as they are.. it is entertaining!
