Second Person Dies In Accident; Madonna Breaks Down On Stage

The accident that occurred on the Marseille leg of Madonna’s Sticky And Sweet tour has claimed a second life.
A total of eight people, including one American, were injured when the roof of the concert stage collapsed. The cause of the accident is still being determined. Two men, a French man and a Briton, have since died.
Madonna, who cancelled one of her Marseille shows in light of the tragedy, took time out last night’s show in Udine, Italy to address the tragedy.
Speaking before she sang ‘You Must Love Me,’ M said in between tears: “I ask you for a moment to stop and think of the people who have lost their lives, we need to appreciate life, the people we love and our families.”
Madonna has also released a statement saying: “My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news.”
