Am I the only person on god’s green earth not into Gerard Butler? I’ve seen 300 and his abs painted on with CGI. I’ve seen him on talk shows wearing fancy suits. He seems like a decent actor and that Scottish accent kills me on anyone else. In theory, he should be co-starring in my daydreams alongside actual hotties Patrick Wilson and Jake Gyllenhaal. But he gives me the creeps. I want to know what the hell people see in him. So I asked!
“He’s dreamy. He’s charismatic. He’s a real guy’s guy,” Gerard’s co-star Cheryl Hines tells us on the red carpet for The Ugly Truth. “You feel like when you meet him you’ve already known him. He’s very personable and it translates on screen. He’s so cute.”
Maybe I need to check out The Ugly Truth (trailer above) and find out what all the hubbub is about. Will you? I have a feeling everything I need to know about this movie I can discover by having a vague knowledge of every romantic comedy throughout the history of time.
Yes, I think you may be the only one that doesn’t find him charming, sexy, and just mesmerizing. I guess some people may not get it. If you don’t watch PSILY and fall in love with him, then maybe you won’t. But even my 85 year old mother did… The Ugly Truth is not like any other romatic comedy. I love it and have seen it 9 times thus far. I guess everyone is not meant to be attracted to the same people. As the ones you mentioned – Patrick and Jake don’t do anything for me….. So is life… PS.. the abs were not CGI
