New Zealand director Peter Jackson’s new movie is about as far away from Lord Of The Rings as you can travel.
The movie adaptation of Alice Sebold’s dark novel, ‘The Lovely Bones‘ stars Susan Sarandon as a drunken grandmother (Is there any other kind?) and newcomer Saoirse Ronan as 14 year Suzy Salmon, the movie’s tragic heroine. ‘The Lovely Bones’ tells the story from Suzy’s perspective – when she is brutally murdered by a mysterious stranger.
