Chris Kattan Doesn’t Understand He’s Not Allowed to Make Fun of Anybody
If you are on Saturday Night Live for seven years and leave without a single fan, you need to quit showbusiness. Chris Kattan, who I thought would have died from malnutrition by now, had the audacity to take a shot a Jeremy Piven when they were both at MTV Studios to tape an episode of some show I’ve never heard of. (Who the hell is Alexa Chung? Why isn’t she Kurt Loder?)
Kattan greeted Piven with “So, what are you here to promote, your Broadway play?,” a reference to Speed the Plow, which Jeremy dropped out of in December, attempting to blame his illness on mercury poisoning from sushi. (The producers sued.) Jeremy shot back with, “Well, what are you here to promote? Mango?” Yeah, right, Jeremy! Like someone would invest money in that! They screamed at each other until Jeremy slammed his dressing room door in Chris’s face. 15 minutes later, when Chris attempted to apologize, Jeremy slammed the door in his face. Lolz.
