White Chicks 2 Gets the Green Light, Unfortunately
The mind-bogglingly successful Wayans brothers film, White Chicks, is set to be rehashed with a sequel. Keenen Ivory Wayans will direct his brothers Marlon and Shawn once again as FBI agents who go undercover as white women. All three will write the film.
Maybe Sony Pictures should keep this one on the shelf for a while until the special effects industry can make convincing ‘white face’ make-up. Besides being offensive and just plain unfunny, White Chicks, was terrible because the ‘white chicks’ looked like two black guys in a bakery mishap. I think the make-up might have been flour, or one of those $3.99 zombie kits from Wal-Mart. Someone should have told the make-up artist that white people aren’t actually the color white.
Now using the same costumes and make-up from White Chicks and turning them into a horror film about mutants from the swamps after brains, totally believable. Give it a thought, Wayans.
