Shawne Merriman Took A Shot At Tila Tequila
San Diego Charger Shawne Merriman allegedy beat up and restrained reality star Tila Tequila early this morning.
The 6’4″ heavyweight is currently being held in custody but sources are reporting that Tequila has checked herself out of the hospital.
The incident went down at Merriman’s home in Poway, CA. Police allegedy recieved a call from a distressed Tequila, stating that she had been choken and restrained from leaving Merriman’s home. The pair had been partying earlier in the evening at San Diego nightclub Stingaree.
TMZ is reporting that a lawyer for Merriman is denying all charges, and that Tequila was “extremely inebriated.”
