Whitney’s Mom: “I’m Not Losing You To The World”
Snippets of Whitney Houston‘s long-awaited sit-down with Oprah are being released, and it’s a lot juicier than we imagined. In her “comeback” interview, Whitney revisits her darkest days, recalling an intervention organized by her mother, Cissy Houston.
Whitney tells Oprah: “One day my mother came to my house. And she walks in with the sheriffs and she says, “I have a court junction here. Either you’re gonna do it my way, or we’re just not gonna do this at all. We’re going to go on TV and you’re going to retire… It’s not worth it. I’m not losing you to the world. I want my daughter back. I want to see that glow in your eyes, that light in your eyes.”
What else will Whitney reveal? Her relationship with Bobby? Her rehabilitation stay? The persistent lesbian rumors with her best friend Robin?
