Bundy & Cox Take Wednesday Night Back to ABC
The new ABC Wednesday night premiered last night and came in stronger than expected. (4.3 adults 18-49)
As with all premiere weeks, next weeks numbers will be the true test, but with Ed O’Niel’s Modern Family and Courtney Cox’s Cougartown actually being pretty dang good It wouldn’t be surprising if the viewers come back for more.
Modern Family highly exceeded my expectations personally. As THE number one Bundy fan, it almost pains me to see Ed O’Neil growing so old before my very eyes, but he hasn’t changed a wink! The show is hilariously funny, the cast is hilariously funny, and I don’t think the storyline will get old. If you haven’t watched it yet, head to ABC.com and check it out.
As for Cougartown, It’s not CoCox’s greatest work. In fact, I wouldn’t even say it’s better than Dirt. But it’s funny, family friendly with a little bit of scandal, and on one of the big 3, so it at least gets an automatic 2 seasons doesn’t it? It has a chance.
Did anyone see Eastwick which followed the both of these? Uncle C totally missed it for a trip to Yogurtland, and forgot to set the recorder. Have to check it out online.
