Little Britain Ex Found Dead
London’s Daily Mail is reporting that Kevin McGee (R), former husband and producing partner of Little Britain’s Matt Lucas (L), has been found dead in his flat after hanging himself.
Writing a suicide note on his Facebook page, he posted the comment:
“Kevin McGee thinks death is much better than life”
Having gone through the difficult divorce from Lucas 10 months ago, friends say his drug habit was skyrocketing, and according to the Daily Mail, it was his drug habit that caused the divorce.
Little Britain is one of the most popular comedy shows to come out of the UK in years, and the couple were once a popular team on London’s social and industry circuits. Their divorce was the first Gay divorce in England’s history; the hearing took 75 seconds.
Last night, a Lothian and Borders police spokesman confirmed:
“Police were called to an address in Bruntsfield Gardens, at 8am, where they found the body of a 32-year-old”
Matt Lucas, 35, is said to be “utterly destroyed” by the news.
