Madonna Plants Tree; Sprouts A School For Girls
Madonna planting a tree isn’t a reference to a new sex position by the material girl – momma’s actually planting a tree!
The 51 year-old superstar arrived in Malawi this past weekend to open her grand new school: The Raising Malwai Academy For Girls.
Accompanied by daughter Lola, Madonna planted a Moringa tree to symbolize the beginning roots of the $15 million school.
Said Madonna:
“If this school is a success – with God willing it will be – we will replicate it not only in Malawi, but in other parts of the world as well.”
The school, intended to open in 2011, will educate approximately 500 students.
