No Doubt Being Stick in the Mud Over Video Game

Gwen Stefani: No Doubt Being Stick in the Mud Over Video Game

No Doubt isn’t very happy about a feature in the new Band Hero game that allows for the player to let certain band members perform other bands songs.

The band has filed a lawsuit against Activision, makers of the popular video game claiming that singer Gwen Stefani is able to sing some suggestive Rolling Stones lyrics, and No Doubt basist Tony Kanal can be made to sing the bands hit “Just a Girl” but with Stefani’s voice.

Sounds like sour grapes to us!  Get over it!

Activision has reporetly been in lengthy negotiations with No Doubt over the matter and claims it did everything “within it’s legal rights” with the game.

The band is seeking unspecified damages and forcing the game from barring their character likeness from performing the music of other bands.
