And a Jay-Z Song Wasn’t On…
At least she’s honest?
Miley Cyrus has admitted the ultimate let down. When the DJ dropped her favorite tune, a Jay-Z song wasn’t on.
In fact, Miley claims she’s never heard a Jay-Z song before?
During a recent interview at her Halloween concert, they asked her why she chose a Jay-Z song for the famous line in ‘Party in the USA’
Well, she didn’t. Miley admits;
“I don’t know, I didn’t write the song, so I have no idea. Honestly, I picked that song because I needed something to go with my clothing line. I didn’t write it and … I didn’t expect it to be popular, originally. It was just something that I wanted to do, and I needed some songs and it turned out for the best.”
While we admire her not taking all the credit for something she didn’t write, you’d think she would play it off as if the song relates to her even if it doesn’t.
Miley claims she hasn’t heard Jay-Z because she “doesn’t listen to pop music.” Well we don’t listen to country and we’ve heard your dad’s attempts at stardom. Surely she’s heard one Jay-Z song before.
