Miley Gets Grammy Nom Swiped From Under Her
Miley Cyrus won’t be on stage accepting a Grammy award for her hit single “The Climb” this year.
Nominated for best original song written for a soundtrack, the track was pulled from the race this weekend when it was revealed that Miley did not write the song herself. Instead, it was written by song writer Jessi Alexander.
Miley’s camp says this comes as no surprise, as they have never tried to claim that she wrote the song, and that it was entered by mistake.
The spot went to the song with the next highest amount of votes, a track from Where the Wild Things Are by Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
