Avatar Tops Weekend Box Office
James Cameron has done it again.
‘Avatar‘ topped the box office this weekend with some impressive figures. Despite ho-hum reviews, the 3D sci-fi action flick raked in $73 million – the third highest ranking December release of all time.
Surprisingly, almost half the viewers took in the 3D flick – in 2D. Reports indicate that 3D viewings accounted for 58 percent of the gross.
We want to see it in 3D!
