7.0 Quake Strikes Haiti!
Parts of Haiti are under a tsunami watch this evening after a 7.0 earthquake struck near the capitol city of Port-Au-Prince.
According to CNN, there was little information regarding the quake’s damage, but according to Haiti’s ambassador, Raymond James, the suffering inflicted on the impoverished Caribbean nation was likely to be “catastrophic.”
The Associated Press has reported that a hospital has collapsed.
