Mischa Barton Sued Over Missing Rent
Those SoapNet residuals for The OC must not be paying up because Mischa Barton is three months behind on her rent for her trendy New York City apartment, and the landlords aren’t very pleased!
Barton rented the $7,000 per month space when she went off to New York to film her now defunct show, The Beautiful Life. When the show got canned, apparently Barton figured it’d be okay to just leave town and skip out on the rent.
After ignoring numerous calls from the management company, they are going to be suing Barton for the sum of $21,000 and lawyer fees.
