Cute Overload! Jake Gyllenhaal’s in the New Vampire Weekend Video
Hey, I just realized I like TWO songs on the new Vampire Weekend album! I guess I missed this one since it’s track eight and I’m already so beaten down by the whale-sound choruses and AutoTune fuckery by then that it all sounds equally bad. But this song, “Give Up the Gun,” and its video, are both very enjoyable. RZA’s in this, because, you know, Vampire Weekend are an Afro-pop band, so why not chuck a Wu-Tanger in there for color.
