Snoop’s UK Ban Lifted
Get ready Brits, Snoop Dogg is comin’ your way!
After nearly three years of banishment from the UK following a fight at London’s Heathrow Airport, the Doggfather is welcome back in the country.
The ban was lifted once in 2008, but it was taken to the court of appeals, where they put it back in place.
Snoop didn’t give up, and took it to the U.K. Asylum and Immigration Tribunal, where his lawyers urged officials to consider the work he’s done in his community, as a high school football coach, and his appearances on many family-friendly television shows, including his own reality series, Fatherhood.
Two officials for the country ruled in Snoops favor, opening the gates to the UK for the legendary rapper.
