India to Ban the Lohan?
The problem with having a Twitter page is that people read it!
So if you’re gonna lie on Twitter about doing something, you better hope the people involved aren’t following. For that, Lindsay Lohan is facing a ban of entry to India.
While on a trip to India last December filming a documentary about child labor and human trafficking, Lohan posted a celebratory tweet bragging that she had saved 40 child workers from a sweat shop.
That would be a great accomplishment, had she actually done it.
Officials from Indian activist groups who did help save 40 children from sweat shops have came forward, claiming that Lindsay had arrived after several successful raids had taken place, and had nothing to do with any of them.
Now, country officials are reviewing the case to determine whether or not to grant her access back into the country.
She has apparently broken another one of the country’s laws, by traveling on a tourist visa, to film the doc which would be considered work.
Hope she enjoyed her time there. Could be a while before she goes back.
