Taylor Momsen Leaving Gossip Girl?

Could this be the end of Little J on Gossip Girl?

Rumors are floating around that Taylor Momsen will be making the exit from Gossip Girl following this season’s finale, at least for a bit.

A GG insider has reported to Entertainment Weekly that they are citing “creative reasons” as the reason she will be absent from an unspecified number of episodes next season, unspecified usually being the nice way of saying to the fans, “hold on to hope and keep watching,”  but The CW has yet to confirm the news yet.

The little rocker chick is about to stir up some mega sh*t when Gossip Girl returns at the end of April, and it could be foreshadowing of the trouble that were drive her away from the big apple.

What do you guys think?  Any Gossip Girl book readers out there?  Did she go away in the books?

The source claims that “something big will happen” in the finale regarding her character.

    I wish the media would at least tell the truth for once but ….oh well.
    She is missing only because she has the Warped tour and this is the shows way of letting her be gone. Talk about drawing conclusions.

    yes she does leave the gossip girl book series. She is expelled her sophomore year and gets shipped off to a boarding school in Jersey which is the start of “The ‘IT’ Girl” series. :)
