Twilight Stars Campaigning For Betty White?

Could Betty White be cast in the next Twilight films?  If it was up to the cast members then yes!

Some of the films major stars, Kellan Lutz, Peter Francenelli, Julia Jones, and Elizabeth Reaser think White would fit right in to their franchise, with the help of some new technologies.

Lutz said during a recent interview: “I would love for them to do what they did in  Benjamin Button with her and she can be Renee (Sarah Clarke’s character) or Esme (Reaser’s character). I would change some scenes up so we could have Emmet (Lutz’s character) going for her. I want to work with her. That would be so much fun.”

But Twilight author Stephanie Meyer has a more realistic approach to casting White for the film, telling Eonline:

“We have so many vampires in ‘Breaking Dawn,’ surely she can fit in somewhere. Wouldn’t it be amazing if she was like just sitting there with a big group of the Volturi (vampire sect)? That would be amazing.”

Maybe, but as we have said before, don’t try and load these movies up with star cameos because you can.  They are good the way they are.  If Betty fits as one of these vampires though then who better!

I think that is a dumb idea! Betty White is great and funny! Twilight is CRAP. It wouldn’t let her portray her character. They’d say stand there Betty (in your Fairy Glitter and White Powder) act tough like this is real! If it was real those werewolf and vampires wouldn’t give a F*ck about some measly little B*tch. They would rip her to shreds and then take care of each other! WTF is this Hippy Go Green War between to of the most powerful Fantasy Creatures! Over a girl, who can’t voice her opinions. It sounds very 50’s how she needs a man, they keep fighting over her, bossing her around, telling her she can’t be one of them. I’m surprised she has any lines!
