Just how rich did James Cameron get from Avatar? Well he only got the biggest pay check ever for the director of a film!
Since the total earnings for the film were $2.7 billion, and the DVD sales were way better than expected, Cameron received a paycheck totaling $350 million dollars.
On top of all that, he’s planning to release a special edition DVD on August 27th, and you know fifteen years from now it’ll hit theaters again.
Time to retire!
