Over-Analyzing Lebron James’ Tweets
Lebron James is causing a stir on Twitter once again.
Most of King James’ Tweets have been dissected by fans and media the past year, trying to figure out any cryptic meaning that may be behind them, but are we just looking for something to talk about that’s not really there?
James recently tweeted:
“20+ games left in phase 2. I’m ReFOCUSED! No prisoners, I have no friends when at WAR besides my Soldiers.”
Many people have been taking this tweet literally with offense, claiming that LeBron should not be comparing basketball to war, where our real heroes are fighting for our freedom overseas, but others have been supporting him, backing his winning attitude.
Should we really be dissecting everything celebrities say and trying to find negative meanings to their words? We’re sure LeBron wasn’t talking down the level of service our troops are dedicating and comparing it to a game he get’s paid a lot of money to play, win or lose.
As he embraces his new label of league villain, it’s mostly just part of the territory.
LeBron’s Miami Heat take on the Orlando Magic tonight at 8PM on TNT. The last time James took on Orlando, just one month ago, he scored a league high 51 points for the season.
Keep tweeting, and most of all keep winning, LeBron. Because in the words of Charlie Sheen, who knows all about having his comments analyzed this week, LeBron James is winning, duh.
