Despite what a good idea it sounds like, Mischa Barton did not quit acting to be the face of Chinese sex toys.
Earlier this week, an image appeared on TMZ which showed the former ‘OC’ actress on the box of a vibrating sex toy, however it turns out the company is using Barton’s image without consent.
A rep for Barton told the site, “She’s not endorsing any such toy.”
This tactic is not new, as foreign countries have long been using Hollywood celebs to promote their items, however with the internet and sites like Twitter bigger than ever, it’s hard to go unnoticed.
