You knew something had to have happened for Arnold Schwarzenegger to come forward with news of the secret child he fathered with a household staffer more than ten years after it happened, and it turns out it was better him than her.
Schwarzenegger admitted the news to his wife, which probably resulted in their split, that he had fathered a child more than ten years ago to a housekeeper, Mildred Patty Baena.
Baena was reportedly ready to come forward with the news herself, which made Arnold tell his wife, Maria Shriver before she found out from somebody else.
“She admitted to friends how she finally wanted to tell the secret – that she had kept faithfully for 14 years – to the world.”
Additionally, reports surfaced that the staffer had retired and received a full severance package, however it seems that the news is what ultimately lead to her being fired just four weeks ago.
Photos of Banea and the child, which was born just a week after Arnold’s youngest son, Charley, were uncovered last night through her active Myspace page.
