Tobey Maguire Says Poker Games Were Not Illegal

Tobey Maguire swears he didn’t try to con a man out of a lot of money during illegal poker games, and he’s setting the record straight.

The Spider-Man actor is named in a lawsuit and accused of taking part in “illegal poker games” in which he helped to con a convicted felon out of more than $30,000.oo

Maguire is coming forward to explain,  that the is that the tournaments were not “controlled games,” which required the host to have a license. He also is insisting that there was no scheme on his part to defraud anyone.

As the story goes, a bunch of big named Hollywood actors, and power players have been known to get together for a weekly poker game.

Those names include Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck.

It’s quite the suspicious situation, and it looks like the man filing the suit is just looking to bring down everyone for his loss, but you never know!
