Horrible news for Lindsay Lohan’s big comeback .
John Travolta’s new John Gotti biopic, Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father, has been put on hold.
Travolta is set to play the mob boss who died in 2002 in prison in the new film alongside his wife, Kelly Preston, Al Pacino, and Lindsay Lohan, but it looks as if Lindsay’s big comeback to the big screen is going to take longer than expected.
Filming is slated to begin in January ahead of a 2012 release date, but according to a new report, there will be a delay until more funding is secured.
A source tells Shobiz411.com, “If (producer) Marc Fiore doesn’t come up with money this week, and doesn’t show that more is coming, and that he’s really secured financing, it could all fall apart.”
Will someone step it up and put the money out there?
