If Dina Lohan can’t profit off of Lindsay’s film career, she might as well profit off her screw ups, right?
On the same day that Lindsay actually showed up to community service at the morgue an hour early, it was revealed that Dina Lohan is shopping a memoir.
Don’t expect that it’s going to be memoirs of Dina’s young life, but more about the struggles of her daughter, Lindsay.
Dina actually plans to reveal all about Lindsay’s alleged drug and alcohol use.
In the prologue to the book, Lohan, who has always been defensive about her daughter, opens up about the heartache that the actress has caused her in the past many years since “falling into the wrong crowd”
She writes: “I blamed her friends, her career and her handlers for an (sic) new-found lifestyle of partying excessively. Drinking, drugging and behaving irresponsibly became Lindsay’s way of daily living – and it tore me up inside.”
As for the criticism she’s faced for letting her child daughter move to Hollywood to become an actress, Dina defends her decision.
“How could I deny my daughter the chance of a lifetime? How could I hold Lindsay back from her dream of becoming an actress? So, I listened to others and sent my daughter to Hollywood with a few pieces of luggage and a chaperone.”
