Miley Cyrus came under fire after a video of her and her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth appeared online, in which she could be heard cursing at a group of fans during a recent trip to Costa Rica.
In the video, Cyrus can be seen turning back to the group and hurling out a “What the F,” after one of the fans calls her an “a**hole” for not having time to stop for a photo.
Cyrus took to her Twitter page to speak of the incident.
“Been trying not to tweet & just enjoy the holidays but just to clear something up I would never swear to a fan. When someone yells something so rude making me look like an ‘a**hole’ in front of fans who I am more than happy 2 take a picture w/ (with) I can’t tolerate that kind of rudeness. Every1 (sic) who was there apologized 4 (sic) the woman’s brusque behavior. She obviously wasn’t a fan. Hope every1 has a Merry Christmas!”
