Mike Comrie announced his retirement from professional Hockey today.
Though it’s sad to see him have to quit playing a sport he loved at the young age of 31, it couldn’t have come at a better time.
Comrie is going to be a dad any day now, as soon as Hilary Duff pops that baby out!
Duff took to her Twitter.com page this morning to send her husband a well wish.
“As many of u know mike has announced his retirement.Its a bittersweet day!He had a wonderful career!but 3 hip surgeries in 5 years is alot!”
3 hip surgeries is a lot of hip surgeries!
Mike spent 11 years in the NHL, playing for six teams.
