Lady Gaga Planning Media Exile

Lady Gaga is planning to take a media exile after her upcoming interview with Oprah Winfrey airs.

Gaga and her mother sat down with O  at their family home in New York for the upcoming Oprah’s “Next Chapter” special.  During the interview, the pop star addressed a number of rumors about her and revealed fans might not hear from her for a while.

She tells Winfrey, “Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time… No press, no television, if my mom calls and says, ‘Did you hear about…’ I shut it all off.”

The singer claims she has nothing else to say to the media, and just needs a break from it all.

The interview will air on Sunday.

One Response to Lady Gaga Planning Media Exile

As much as I enjoy her music, I’m even more interested in what Gaga has to say.  She’s one of the few who gives an honest and heartfelt interview instead of the typical cutesy, “ain’t-I-the-coolest-thing-you’ve-ever-seen” drivel that the great majority of performers/celebrities insult your intelligence with.  Look at her MTV interview, or those with Jonathan Ross, for example.
