Lindsay Lohan is just around two weeks out from getting off of probation, so it would suck if something like a hit and run caused the violation that sent her back to jail.
Lohan has denied claims that she bumped her Porsche into a man identified as Thaer Kamal as she left The Sayers Club in Los Angeles on March 14. The alleged victim initially told cops he didn’t require medical attention, only to later check into a hospital emergency room for treatment and decide to press charges against Lohan.
Police want to question the actress over the incident, but she has failed to cooperate and call them back seeing as she has no obligation to do so.
Helping her case, Kamal has also stayed away from talking to the cops since deciding to press charges.
The latest twist uncovered by TMZ.com, which also works in Lindsay’s favor is that Kamal is being investigated for multiple instances of insurance fraud. The man, who allegedly goes by a number of other alias’, is accused of staging car accidents and filing hoax claims.
Looks like Lindsay should be in the clear here.
