Britney Spears’ $15 Million Dollar ‘X Factor’ Deal In The Closing Stages
It’s been ongoing for weeks and weeks and months, but Britney Spears is reportedly very close to closing the deal on a contract that will pay her $15 million to be a judge on ‘The X Factor.’
TMZ reports that they are working out the “fine points” of the deal, but that all of the major factors are in place and agreed upon.
In an appearance on TMZ live on Tuesday, Simon Cowell told the show, “I would love to have her on the show. I think she would be a fascinating person to sit next to.” Simon added that the announcement would be made within the week.
Once the details are set in stone, the deal will go to Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, as well as her lawyers. If they sign the deal, it will be presented to the judge who oversees the conservatorship for approval.
