Hilary Duff Dishes On Baby Weight And Cruel Comments From Fans

Hilary Duff is just three weeks removed from giving birth to her baby Luca, but she’s not as concerned about dropping the baby weight as some people seem to think she should be.

The new mom is wasting no time in getting back to her exercise habits, and  and returned to Pilates classes in the weeks after giving birth, but admits that some people have taken cruel jabs at her body despite the fact it’s perfectly natural to carry the weight for a little while after giving birth.

Duff told Parade magazine,  “I read comments on my Twitter page about how I’m waddling into Pilates and I go, ‘Wow, that’s a really mean thing to say. I just had a baby three weeks ago!’ There is a little bit of pressure but most of it comes from me.”

Duff had a similar chat with UsMagazine.com, where she told the publication that she’s not stressing about the weight, but she’s found a new routine to help her get her figure back.

She tells UsMagazine.com, “I just started about a week ago at SoulCycle and I’m addicted to it. It’s a great workout and it’s perfect because it’s only 45 minutes – where else can you sweat like that in 45 minutes?

“I’m not stressing about it (baby weight). I’m working out because I honestly missed it during my pregnancy – getting in that good, hard workout. I need endorphins in my life to be a happy person. I want my body back but I’m not freaked out or anything – just working out and trying to eat a little bit healthier.”
