Nicki Minaj is keeping quiet while resting her voice for damaged vocal chords, but one thing she can do in the mean time is tweet.
The singer took to her Twitter page to share an upcoming surprise with her fans, writing;
“Ok barbz, getting another x-ray. When I get back, I’ll have a surprise for u. *kisses u, hugs u*”
According to an American Idol insider, the big surprise is that Minaj is set to join Mariah Carey on the judges panel of the singing competition:
“I’m not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it, a few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening.”
Another source has come forward saying the deal IS 100% complete, but the best confirmation of the story will be to hear it straight from Ms. Minaj herself.
Other names including P. Diddy, and Alanis Morissette have been thrown around as well, and you never know when Idol may go back to the four judge format, but it would appear that the Nicki Minaj report may have legs.
