Eddie Murphy has his sights set on a return to the Beverly Hills PD as part of a new TV spin-off from one of the actors most famous films.
Murphy is planning to produce and appear in a TV pilot for Beverly Hills Cop.
According to some reports, Murphy has teamed up with Shawn Ryan, director of ‘The Shield,’ to develop the project, and the dynamic duo is offering the idea to network executives.
So would Murphy reprise his role as detective Axel Foley, the character he played in the 1984 film, and it’s 1987 and 1994 sequels?
Last year, he revealed to Rolling stone that the show would be about Axel Foley’s son, adding, “I’d do the pilot, show up here and there.”
